We say “I don’t have all day” all the time.  Today’s Mindfreak thinks we should say it in one more place.

Repent and believe the good news!” As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him.

We reach out and grab and  cling to a lot of things.  Take some time to think about what you cling to and is it helping.

Romans 12:9  Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

There definitely is not anything wrong with crying, but the question today is “Are there some things you should be crying about and aren’t?”

Luke 19:41-42  As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Today – Think about what it really means to love your friends.

John 15:13  Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Sometimes something so bad happens and we just want to hide.  Listen today and see what to do when that happens and where to find some relief.

1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

What do we do in the times when we just don’t feel like doing something we know is right?

Psalm 92:1-2  It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night.

Revelation 1:8  “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

There are only so many truly life-changing opportunities that come your way.  Are you looking for them or are they just passing you by and you don’t even know it?

Daily Mindfreak March 18th

Acts 8:1   A great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.

The church was never supposed to stay in  one place. It was meant to spread into the world and be the church every day in that world, connecting people to the Savior Jesus.
